8 Years Exporting Bra Cups with Zero Bad Debt

A track record measured in shipped orders

When a buyer evaluates a bra cup supplier, most of the conversation lands on capacity, speed, and price. Those matter. But the question that keeps procurement managers awake is simpler and harder to fake: when the goods ship and the invoices come due, does this partner pay and collect cleanly, year after year? That is the part of a supplier’s record you cannot dress up with a brochure.

At Senfeng we make molded PU foam bra cups in Dongguan, Guangdong, and we have been exporting them for eight years. Over that span the number we are proudest of is not a spec-sheet value. It is zero: zero bad debt, zero defaulted invoices, zero collection cases across our export book.

Eight years, one number

Bad debt in cross-border component trade is more common than buyers like to admit. Small molded parts ship in high volume, often on partially secured terms, and a single disputed lot or a buyer-side insolvency can leave a supplier unpaid. Eight years without a single unpaid export invoice is not luck. It is the product of disciplined terms, insured coverage on qualifying orders, and a customer base built on repeat programs rather than one-off gambles.

We are not claiming we never saw a late payment. We are saying that across eight years of export, every covered invoice was ultimately settled, and we have never written off a bad export debt. For a component supplier, that record is the quiet foundation under every other claim we make.

How payment risk stays contained

Our export terms are built so neither side carries open-ended exposure:

  • T/T with deposit and balance on documents. The standard structure is 30% deposit to secure the production slot and 70% against a copy of the bill of lading. The deposit protects our material commitment; the balance releases on shipping documents, so each side’s risk is bounded and visible.
  • L/C for larger programs. For bigger orders, a letter of credit adds a neutral bank between buyer and seller, with payment released against agreed shipping documents rather than trust alone.
  • Sinosure export credit insurance. Qualifying shipments are covered under Sinosure (China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation), which protects against covered non-payment risk and lets both parties trade with a safer floor.
  • Signed confirmation samples as the baseline. Every program starts from a mutually signed confirmation sample, so the specification is fixed in writing before production and disputes over what was ordered rarely arise.

Customers we have served

A zero bad-debt record is only meaningful if real customers stand behind it. Over the years we have supplied established lingerie brands and manufacturers, including:

  • Hop Lun (合隆) — a major international lingerie manufacturer and private-label supplier.
  • Embry (安莉芳) — a long-established lingerie brand in the Asia-Pacific market.
  • Adore Me — a US-based direct-to-consumer lingerie brand.

We do not publish individual order volumes; commercial detail stays confidential. What we will say is that these are not single shipments. They are multi-year, repeat relationships, and repeat business from brands of this caliber is itself the strongest evidence that the commercial relationship holds up on both sides of the ledger.

What the certifications cover, and what they do not

Senfeng holds OEKO-TEX Standard 100, GRS, and ISO 9001. Buyers sometimes assume that a wall of certificates also guarantees financial reliability. It does not, and we would rather be precise than let that misunderstanding stand.

  • OEKO-TEX Standard 100 limits harmful substances in the finished product, a material-safety standard rather than a financial one.
  • GRS (Global Recycled Standard) verifies recycled content and chain-of-custody for eligible materials.
  • ISO 9001 certifies a quality management system and consistent process discipline.

None of the three assesses a supplier’s solvency, payment behavior, or credit risk. Our zero bad-debt record is a separate, financial track record. The certifications tell you the cups are safe and the process is disciplined; the export history tells you the commercial relationship is sound. You need both pictures, and they live in different columns.

Why this matters when you choose a supplier

For a buyer, working with Senfeng — a supplier with a clean export payment record and insured coverage — reduces your own operational risk. Fewer surprises at settlement, fewer disputes over what was ordered, and a partner that is still shipping years into the relationship. Pair that with our per-batch production records and incoming foam-grade inspection, and the export record becomes one more load-bearing wall in the trust picture: not the only one, but a real one.

If you are scoping a new bra cup program, the practical question is not “can they make it” but “will the commercial relationship hold across years of repeat orders.” Eight years of export with zero bad debt is our answer to that question.

Frequently asked questions

Does Senfeng export to Europe and the United States?

Yes. We have eight years of export experience serving brands in both regions, and our OEKO-TEX Standard 100, GRS, and ISO 9001 certifications support clearance through EU and US customs.

What payment terms does Senfeng use?

The standard structure is T/T with 30% deposit and 70% against a copy of the bill of lading. Larger orders can be arranged on a letter of credit. Final terms are confirmed per contract.

Is Senfeng covered by export credit insurance?

Yes. Qualifying shipments are covered under Sinosure (China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation), which protects against covered non-payment risk.

Can you name the customers you work with?

We supply established brands including Hop Lun, Embry, and Adore Me. We keep commercial detail confidential, but these are multi-year repeat relationships, not single shipments.

Do the certifications guarantee payment safety?

No. OEKO-TEX, GRS, and ISO 9001 cover product safety, material provenance, and process discipline. They do not assess financial stability. Our zero bad-debt record is a separate financial track record.
