Bra Cup Guide

MOQ and Lead Time What 500 Pairs Really Means

Why 500 Pairs Is Our Minimum Order

At Senfeng we set the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for molded PU foam bra cups at 500 pairs per order. This number is not arbitrary. A heat-press production run carries fixed setup – mold mounting, foam batch verification, and a per-shift production parameter log – that only becomes efficient above a certain volume. Below 500 pairs, the cost of setup per unit rises steeply and the run becomes hard to manage on the same line that serves larger orders.

Five hundred pairs is a single-order MOQ. It does not mean 500 pairs per style, per color, or per size split. If you need three colors of one shape, the practical minimum is 500 pairs per color run, planned as separate lines. We keep this transparent so buyers can build an accurate cost and capacity picture before committing.

What the MOQ Covers and What It Does Not

A 500-pair order is produced on our standard PU foam: density 25 to 30 kg/m3, ILD 28 to 35, and 4-grade yellowing resistance as our export default. Airflow holes (1.5 to 2 mm, 6 to 12 per cup) are added by default at no extra charge. We hold OEKO-TEX Standard 100, GRS, and ISO 9001, which support customs clearance into Europe and North America.

What the MOQ does not buy is unlimited flexibility. Very low runs below 500 pairs are not offered because they cannot be run on the same controlled line without breaking the per-shift recording and traceability that keep our yield above 95 percent. That discipline is part of why we can promise full batch traceability rather than just a low price.

Lead Time the Honest Way

Lead time has two clocks. The first is sampling. From an existing mold, a sample takes 1 to 2 days. From a new mold, it takes 3 to 7 days of bench time after your specification is locked – roughly 50 percent faster than the common industry window. The second clock is production, which starts only after the sealed sample is approved.

Both clocks are bench hours. They exclude international shipping (typically another 3 to 7 days to Europe or North America) and your own review time. A first sample is often followed by one revision round, which is normal and should be planned for. Our inquiry-to-sample workflow guide breaks this down step by step.

Peak Season Needs a 60-Day Head Start

We operate more than 2000 existing molds and run traditional heat-press forming on disciplined shifts. That is a real strength, but it is not infinite capacity. In peak season – typically the months brands build inventory for the next selling cycle – line slots fill weeks ahead.

Our recommendation is simple: lock capacity about 60 days before your target ship date. This protects both your delivery window and the sampling time you may still need. We do not claim we can absorb any volume at any moment; we plan with you so the 60-day horizon keeps the line realistic. Pairing this with our OEM and ODM cooperation steps gives a clean path from spec to shipment.

How to Shorten Your Time to Market

The fastest launches lean on our mold library. Matching an existing mold can collapse the tooling wait entirely, turning a 3 to 7 day new-mold path into a 1 to 2 day existing-mold path. The full product overview shows the range of cup types we already support.

For a new shape, the lead time is governed by spec completeness. The more precise your drawing or reference cup, the sooner the 3 to 7 day clock starts. Vague specs do not just slow sampling – they push the whole order later.

Export and Payment You Can Plan Around

Every batch is recorded: mold number, foam batch, shift, and heat-press settings of 160 to 200 degrees C, 15 to 30 tonnes, and 8 to 15 seconds dwell. With 8 years of export experience and a zero bad-debt record, orders are backed by Sinosure credit insurance and typically settled by T/T (deposit plus balance against bill of lading copy).

A Note on What We Make

We specialize in PU foam molded cups. We do not produce memory foam or latex cups; if your project needs those, we can help connect you with suitable peers. We also avoid overstating automation – our edge is a deep mold library, disciplined per-shift recording, and a mature export process, not robotic inspection claims.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the minimum order for bra cups?

500 pairs per order. Plan it as 500 pairs per color or per run, because low-volume splits cannot share the same controlled production line efficiently.

How long does production lead time take?

Sampling runs 1 to 2 days from an existing mold or 3 to 7 days from a new mold, as bench hours after spec lock. Production starts after sample approval and excludes shipping (3 to 7 days) and your review time.

Why lock capacity 60 days ahead?

Peak-season line slots fill weeks in advance. A 60-day horizon protects your delivery window and leaves room for sampling and one revision round without rushing the line.

Do you make memory foam cups?

No. We focus on PU foam molded cups. Memory foam and latex are industry topics we can explain, but they are not our products – we can help introduce peers if you need them.

How is export payment secured?

We work on T/T terms with a deposit and balance against bill of lading copy, and orders are covered by Sinosure credit insurance. Our 8-year export record shows zero bad debt.
